Delo Park

Delo is a significant tourist attraction in Kalimpong, which attracts lots of tourists annually. It is located at a height of 1700m & is labeled as the highest point of the city. The hill is known for its unusual height which offers a spectacular view of the rolling valleys and its surrounding of Kalimpong. Here you can find the recreational park at the top of the hill where you can indulge in several activities.

Science Center

Kalimpong science center is one of the attractions which you can visit and get indulge in several science-related things. It is located on the Delo side of Kalimpong it is a good place for kids to spend a weekend in the park. It is one of the beautiful sightseeing destination where you can spend sometimes with your family and kids & enjoy the surroundings.

Buddha Park

It is a small stopover on the way to or from Delo hills, it is the large statue of Lord Buddha standing tall & magnificent. The whole ambiance of the place is calm & soothing, and the golden statue of Buddha will inspiring & pristine. Here you will experience the cool soothing winds from the valley that heralds an atmosphere of peace & serenity. The color & the vibrancy of the statue will rejuvenate you from the inside.

Durpin Monastery

At a distance of 5km from the Kalimpong bus station, popularly known as the Durpin Monastery located at the top of Durpin Dara. It is one of the largest Monasteries of Kalimpong and among the well-known Buddhist monasteries in West Bengal. It is one of the great spots to hold and spend some time around the monastery and soak in the peaceful vibes of the monastery.

Tista River View Point

The Teesta river viewpoint showcases an amazing view of the great Rangeet River meets the Teesta River which is an awesome view to treat to your eyes. The river Rangeet with its deep emerald deep green crystal clear water gushes in and meets the forceful mountain river of Teesta river. Which is such a rewarding site to be whenever you’re in Kalimpong.

Golf Course

Located on the hilly terrain of Durpin Dara, lies the 18-hole golf course which is maintained by the Indian army at Kalimpong West Bengal. It is a nice place to visit and its surrounding is calm and worth visiting. Army officers can be seen playing golf in early the morning. The place has a significant spot among tourists and the surrounding golf course has lush green pine trees.

Hanuman Tak

What truly separates Kalimpong from other places is its vicinity in the vibrant mix of cultures. Including having all the religious sites from churches, and Buddhist monasteries to a tall statue dedicated to Lord Hanuman Temple elevated at the height of approximately 30ft. The temple has several steps which you have to climb to reach the top temple.

Krishna Mandir

Located at the Delo Pudung Khasmahal is another temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is a beautiful Hindu temple which is a great place to be when you are in Kalimpong.

Jalsa Bungalow

Located at the upper munsong, the Jalsa Bungalow was built by the British in the early 1920s. Which is another great spot to visit whenever you’re in Kalimpong, the bungalow used to host the sahib & Babus working at the cinchona plantations. The bungalow is located at the hilltop within age-old pine trees, and beautiful landscape gardens and showcases the Teesta river valley.

Kalimpong

Lava

Located at the elevation of 2350 meters of heights, Lava is approximately 35km from Kalimpong and it is fast becoming the major tourist destination. The lush forest of Lava is ideal for birds watching, trekking, and cycling & for the wildlife exploration. The Sherpa view point provides an excellent view of the snow-crested mountains of Bhutan & Tibet. The monastery at Lava is a place of much interest to scholars and academics. Trekking routes to Gitdubling Neora valley, Rachela & Gumbadara all originates from Lava.

Rolep is a picture square hamlet located at the east Sikkim, Rolep offers the spectacular scenic view of fresh forest, sokey khola falls and the river Rangpoo and its tributaries including religious temples & monasteries. Which offer a great sightseeing while visiting via Lava.

Khola Kham can be your base while visiting to Lava, Lolegaon & Rishop. Changay Water Fall

Changay waterfall has an impressive power & beauty of nature, shimmering & falling breaking into thousand shards of spray. Changay waterfall one of the attractions of Kalimpong can be found at the short distance of 14km from Lava. Changay waterfall is the highest altitude water fall of North Bengal and its added charm to the beautiful hamlet nearby.
